New Wrestling Reality Trailer
March 17th 2008 - For all the fans
who have e mailed us with questions, I hope this will answer most.
Firstly, we are humbled by all the feedback we have gotten on
season one. We were trying to put a product together that would
please the wrestling fans and also those who normally don't watch
wrestling. We are currently airing in six countries on The Fight
Network and are still distributing.
As for the second season, we are getting organised to shoot in
the near future in the UK. Our focus for next season will be much
more on the documentary and less on the wrestling matches. All
matches will be taped however and shown in a separate format to
be determined.
We also are planning to produce live wrestling events in Atlantic
Canada and elsewhere after we shoot season two. Please stay tuned
to www.wrestlingreality.com and www.newscott.com for details.
Interested wrestlers or valets, please send a full resume and
video link of a full match to kingmansmith@hotmail.com

December 12th 2007 : Here
is what Krysta Lynn Scott
has been up too since the Wrestling Tour :
"Since the tour has finished I have unfortunately only been
able to wrestle in a few matches around the Maritimes. I worked
the ECPW show in Cape Breton as well as a couple matches for Steen.
Though these shows were excellent, it is not near enough wrestling
to keep me happy here. Since WR tour, the main realization I have
come to is that I need more experience and better opposition.
And so, a couple months ago I started renovating my condo (in
Halifax) so that I can sell it and head out west (Calgary) to
get some more experience before season two.
I would love to take this opportunity to thank WR for letting
me be a part of such an amazing show; I’m looking forward
to season two. I would also love to thank the fans, especially
in the Maritimes; you can all be sure I will be back and better
then ever."
December 10th 2007 : Don't
forget to check out Wrestling Reality on The Fight Network tomorrow
night 8pm EST!
Here is what Brody Steele, Scott Savage the Wrestling
Reality referee Disco Dave have been up to since the Wrestling
Reality tour:
Brody Steele : "A few days after the May 2006 WR
tour, I left for a couple of matches in South Korea with Mike
Hughes. My partner, Leatherface and I won the WWA World tag belts
from Tajiri and Giant Vapo.
After being home a few weeks I left for England to do a five week
tour. I had arranged with the English promoter, Brian Dixon to
bring Trash Canyon along for the experience and he did great over
there. Mike Hughes also showed up there towards the end of my
stay. A few days before I left, I got the call of my life. My
wife and I were about to adopt a baby girl. I arrived home on
a monday night at midnight and we picked Keely up the next morning
at 9 am.
Although I was planning to stay home a while and get used to fatherhood,
I got an urgent call to go back to England in August. I went back
for four weeks and became British Heavyweight champ on Sept. 2nd
with a win in Liverpool over James Mason.
My next trip was in late September and was a five week tour of
Denmark, Ireland and again England. My body was pretty broken
down at this point and I decided to take a full month off from
the ring and spend as much time in the gym as possible.
On November 29th I flew to Breman, Germany to the Catch Cup event.
I had a World Championship match there with Eddy Steinblach. After
nine rounds of five minutes each, he retained his title by pinfall."
Scott Savage : "Hey everyone; all of you Realityites!
That's my name for all the great fans of Wrestling Reality. How
are you? First of all, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year too
all! This is my favourite time of year, nothing like getting loot
and lots of food... free food! Hope you are all enjoying Season
One of the show as much as I am. Let me tell you about another
trip I took recently too one of the coolest places in Canada,
Newfoundland. I was on a tour that spent 2 weeks there. So many
stories, some good and some not so good. But more importantly
lots and lots of matches. I experienced my 1st ever Money in the
Bank ladder match! Every single night, I won my qualifying match
to advance to the Ladder match. On one great night I grabbed the
briefcase out of the rafters, which meant I got a shot at the
Champ! I cashed it in right away against, of all people, Kardinal
Sinner, Kowboy Mike Hughes. I lost. But I was able to drown my
sorrows with the help of the oh-so-kind NFLD Fast Food employees
who routinely gave a hungry Savage FREE food! NLFD Realityites?
I think so... Thanks! Of course I wrote another chapter in the
Scott Savage Ring Truck Chronicles, which means, basically, something
bad happened to the ring truck when I was near it. I'm still convinced
the reason the Wrestling Reality ring truck broke down after Sussex
was because that was the night I put my Ring gear suitcase in
the back of it. Let's face it truck had been working fine until
a piece of Savage's luggage decided to hop a ride, suddenly it
breaks down! Coincidence? I think not! I’m really looking
forward to the New Year to see what type of adventure it will
bring. It was great talking to you guys keep watching The Fight
Network! I know I'll be!"
Disco Dave : "Since the tour this spring, I've had
a lot of ups and downs. The most recent one is that I have been
undergoing treatments on my lower back to repair a pinched nerve
and damage that has been done to discs in my lower spinal cord.
Aside from that I've been doing very light training and focusing
more on working and beginning to build my life for the future
years. I'im only 21 but I've already aquired my own car, half
a house, life insurance and all that good stuff people tell you
you have to get when you're young because thats what growing up
is. I'm also working on the possibility of opening up my own clothing
store."
December 7th 2007 : Here is what Mike Hughes,
Gary Williams, Tony Armstrong and Zero have been up to since the
Wrestling Reality Tour :
Mike Hughes : "A few days after the WR tour ended
Peter and I left for Korea where I wrestled for the Korean Heavyweight
Championship but things didn't go in my favor. From there I spent
6 weeks working in England for All-Star wrestling with some of
the best guys in business in and out of the ring.
Upon my return to good old P.E.I , I started a venipuncture and
cardiogram clinic with Entrepreneur Paul Jenkins. This is keeping
me extremely busy as we are always looking to expand our healthcare
services to the public.
After the foundation of this venture was secure I left on a 20
day tour of Newfoundland with another Maritime promotion. I then
wrestled the ECPW show in Cape Breton on September 25th before
returning to PEI to re assume my work at the clinic.
I am now focusing on the expansion of the clinic and have rededicated
myself to being in the best shape possible."
Gary Williams : "The main focuses for me since the
Wrestling Reality tour has been first off to get into the bast
shape of my life for season 2. I've been training hard in the
gym working out at least 6 days a week. I've drastically change
my style of training to cutting up and trimming down to accomplish
that "hard body" look. I've been doing a lot of cardio
and really putting a lot of attention on my abs. Dieting has been
the major factor in my regiment. I've been dieting for the last
2 months now and the results are definitely starting to show.
In the past I always trained for size (bulking up) so it's been
a different experience for me but I am loving it.
I've also been spending a lot of my time at Wildman Academy. I've
had the school for over 2 years now and I really feel that with
Wrestling Reality all ready being the success that it has generated
a bit of a "buzz" so to speak with young hopefuls that
have a dream of being a professional wrestler one day. The ring
has completely been rebuilt with a new platform, padding, turnbuckles
and many other things to make the ring simply look and work better.
Between maintaining the school and teaching classes it's been
keeping my really busy.
I've been spending a lot of time on the recording and production
of our new Dead Reach CD. For those of you that don't know, I
sing for the band and we did most of the music, soundtrack and
entrance themes for the Wrestling Reality series. The intro for
Wrestling Reality is a Dead Reach song called "Fallen."
We are releasing a 10 song CD and we are aiming to have it out
by late spring 2008. The band is available for bookings for some
live shows but are mainly focusing on the release of their new
CD.
As a profession aside from Wrestling I've been making a living
managing a private security firm here in New Brunswick. It's been
keeping me really busy as of late and keeps me active in the entertainment
world. I do a lot of Close Protection (bodyguard) work for famous
artists and bands like Guns & Roses, Pearl Jam, Motley Crue,
Nickelback, just to name a few... The last one I did was the Canadian
Idol tour with Brian Melo, Jadee Bixby and Carley Rae Jepsen.
I've only had 3 matches since the Wrestling Reality tour with
some local promotions in the area. I've simply chosen to aim most
of my attention to the production and promotional side of Wrestling
Reality till the next tour begins. Truth be told, I haven't had
much time to do many indy shows with everything else going on
in my life.
So needless to say I've been keeping really busy with everything
and looking forward to the production of Wrestling Reality Season
2. Till then It's business as usual."
Tony Armstrong : "Since the shows in the spring
for WR, I've been focusing mostly on completing my Human Resources/Industrial
Relations Management degree at Saint Mary's University. For the
most part, it's been encompassing my life, like hundreds of thousands
of students across the country. Although serious about perusing
my degree in previous years, I've approached the past 8 months
with a renewed sense of focus in my studies. Not much work on
the wrestling front, I suffered a shoulder injury during the late
spring, and was unable to so much as lift a can for about 2 months.
For the most part, I've been reevaluating my future in all aspects,
and am still trying to determine what path I'll lead myself down."
Zero : "Well since I moved back to Bathurst its
been the same old work, go to the gym and work wrestling shows
that are available around here."
December 5th 2007 : Here
is what Siderwinder, Trash Canyon & Lincoln Steen have been
up to since the Wrestling Reality tour ended in May 2007.
Sidewinder : "I've been keeping pretty busy lately.
I started doing some modelling work on the side during the summer
and it's actually starting to pick up and become profitable. It's
sweet because its something that just kind of fell on my lap.
Aside from that, I'm still wrestling here and there. I'm building
up a list of odd jobs I've been doing. The latest of which being
a salesman haha. I've been trying to see a lot of friends I haven't
seen in a while. I had my 19th birthday last weekend so I've been
holding my drinking reputation pretty steadily. Other than all
that, I'm still hitting the gym like crazy, working on the cardio,
learning to appreciate things like art and music more, and have
just been living life by the heartbeat."
Trash Canyon : "Although I haven't wrestled locally
since the tour I spent the summer across the pond in England.
I spent 4 weeks working for the busiest full time promotion in
Europe, "All Star Wrestling". I had the privilege of
working with some of the greatest guys I have ever met in the
business. It was an amazing experience and I gained a wealth of
knowledge from some of the veterans in the UK."
Lincoln Steen : "Since May, I have kept myself busy
with the odd wrestling booking, but mostly I have been focusing
on my day job, writing commercials for a radio station in Northeastern
Nova Scotia. The station which is getting ready to make a major
transformation which I have had a hand in designing. I also baby
sit drunks at the bar on Saturday night… I figures it’s
better to get paid to be at the bar than be paying to be at the
bar… plus, who doesn’t love good maritime music live?
In July, I promoted a wrestling show featuring Krysta
Lynn Scott and Scott Savage in New Glasgow at Fibber’s
Pub and Eatery, which was the talk of the town for weeks afterwards.
In September, I also wrestled for promoter Sheldon MacLean’s
East Coast Pro Wrestling card in North Sydney in a show featuring
Tito Santana, Robert Roode and Kowboy
Mike Hughes. In November, I hosted the Wrestling Reality Premiere
Party at Fibber’s Pub and Eatery, which was attended by
some of the cast and a special appearance was made by JD Fortune
(lead singer of INXS). I am looking forward to some much deserved
relaxation at Christmas."
